The Inquiring Minds book group will meet on Monday December 9th at 10AM in the Parlor to discuss “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer. The author provides an objective scientific approach, overlaid on the ancient knowledge of the indigenous people, to help the readers better understand and appreciate Mother Earth — the natural beauty of fruit, trees and sweetgrass and the enriching relationships between the plants and the Earth’s inhabitants. So many precious gifts from our planet, free to all to partake and enjoy.
