"The Big Fix: Seven Practical Steps to Save Our Planet" Book Discussion
Last Fall the EarthCare Team brought you a series of discussions around the book All We Can Save, which examined different aspects of the climate crisis. Now in the Spring we’re following up with a book centered on solutions that can help us solve the problem! Join us Sunday, April 14 at 11:15am in the chapel of Pilgrim House to talk about the book The Big Fix: Seven Practical Steps to Save Our Planet. The book offers a new, hopeful way to engage with one of the greatest problems of our age, illuminates how the really big decisions that affect our climate get made, and reveals how each of us can influence those decisions to deliver change. All are welcome to attend (whether you participated in the Fall series or not!) this uplifting, solutions-focused discussion this April!
The book will be available at Gulf of Maine Books, Barnes and Noble, or can be ordered online. The library has a copy and more are available through interlibrary loan. If any students would like to attend, the EarthCare Team would be thrilled to provide a copy of the book – contact Jen Spillane (jennifer.l.spillane@gmail.com) for more information or with any questions.
