Last December, we opened the vestry to students from Bowdoin College during the time between their reading week and the start of their exams. We called it the “Relaxation Station”. It was an invitation to the students from Bowdoin to come over, enjoy holiday cookies, hot cocoa, and sit for a while. We offered “crafts” such as coloring pages (mandalas) and mug designing (white mugs and coloring pens). There were other de-stressors, like furry friends, and holiday music. All-in-all, it was a place of welcome and warmth.

We will be doing this again this year! The event will be held in the church Vestry on Monday, December 11^th, from 2 to 6pm. All are welcome to come and de-stress from the hectic time that is college finals week!
