I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:9-10)Beloved People of God from all around our Maine Conference—north, south, east, and west: Let us gather together, unified in faith in our God and love for one another,

—This Thursday evening at 6:30 by zoom–
  • To keep vigil together, 
  • to pray together, 
  • to pray for healing for the injured in body and spirit,
  • to remember and honor those taken from us, 
  • to gather families and friends of the fallen into our hearts, 
  • to hold and support one another in our shock and grief.

Our General Minister and President of the United Church of Christ Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia Thompson is expected to join us to offer words of comfort.
