Gayle Boss’s book, “All Creation Waits” is designed to be used as an Advent calendar. Each story is numbered and shares the wisdom of how all living things “make ready to wait until the earth wakes again into the light and warmth of spring.”

Books are available for order through the Adult Christian Education Team at a cost of $10 each. You may order either of the two editions – the original one, for older children and adults, or the one for young children by emailing Paige Mangum, pmangum@comcast.net or by texting 207-841-8300.

There will be four after-worship opportunities to hear and talk about one of the stories from “All Creation Waits”. The discussion group will meet in the Parlor each Sunday of Advent at 11:15 beginning on November 26 and ending on December 17. Bob Beaumont and Paige Mangum will facilitate these conversations. The sessions will run from 11:15 to noon. These sessions are open to everyone and parents with children are welcome to join the conversations in the Parlor. Please bring a bag lunch or snack for your child to enjoy during the discussion if you wish.
